We are Wellington’s largest Occupational Medicine Specialist Group.
We are three experienced Occupational Physicians who all offer independent medical opinions on a variety of matters in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Together we are the Chief Medical Advisors for over ten NZ companies, providing medical advice.
We are all Wellington based but travel on a regular basis around NZ.
Dr David Hartshorn has over 20 years of experience in Occupational Medicine. His areas of expertise include complex medical work fitness assessment, independent medicolegal medical assessments, and rehabilitation
Dr Blair Christian has worked for more than 20 years in private practice Occupational Medicine. He has extensive experience in medical work capacity assessments, independent medicolegal assessments, and advising on rehabilitation from illness and injury. He comes from a background in Psychiatry, before specialising in Occupational Medicine, and has previously worked as medical advisor to a number of Government departments as well as businesses, including as an OSH medical advisor.
Dr David Payne is experienced in fit for work assessments for all industries, although focussing on higher risk industries. David also is an AMROA registered MRO and is able to perform independent advice regarding workplace drug policy and workplace implications of medicine use. David is also able to perform complex independent medical assessments.
